Know Pain Physio PT PLLC respects your privacy and keeps your health information confidential, as required of licensed health professionals in New York.
What I collect. Contact details, health history and intake answers, session notes, and, with your consent, session recordings and transcripts. Payment is processed by Stripe; I never see or store your full card or bank numbers.
How I use it. To provide and document your care, schedule and bill for services, communicate with you, and improve my services.
Recordings and AI tools. With your written consent, sessions may be recorded and transcribed. Recordings and transcripts are stored in secure, access-controlled business accounts. To help summarize sessions and draft your written plan, I use Venice AI’s private models, which Venice states do not store or log the content sent to them after processing. Before anything is analyzed with AI, I remove your name and identifying details. All clinical decisions are made by me, not by software.
Marketing. With permission, I may use deidentified parts of our video to help educate the public. Your care never depends on it.
Sharing. I don’t sell your information. I share it only with your permission, with service providers needed to run the practice (such as payment, video and email services), or when required by law.
Communication. Text messages and regular email are not encrypted. Please keep detailed medical information for sessions.
Retention. Records are kept as long as New York law requires for physical therapy records, then securely deleted.
Your choices. You can request a copy of your records, ask for corrections, or withdraw recording or marketing consent by emailing KnowPainPhysio@gmail.com.
Website. This site may use basic cookies and analytics. Please don’t submit detailed health information through the contact form.
